Retirement KITAS

  • KITAS Retirement is for foreigners over 60 years old who will spend their retirement in Indonesia.
  • KITAS is valid for 1 year.
  • KITAS can be extended 5 times — 6 years in total.
  • Each year, you will need to extend your residence permit. You must be in Indonesia to do so.
  • You cannot receive a salary, sell goods, or services with this residence permit.

Required Documents

Applicant Documents

  • Copy of passport with a minimum validity of 18 months
  • ID photo
  • Copy of personal health insurance
  • Copy of bank statements for the last 3 months (minimum USD 3,000) in PDF format
  • 2 Balinese ID cards of your staff (e.g. maid, etc.)
  • 1-year rental contract + owner's ID card
  • Address in Indonesia
  • Current electronic visa (ONSHORE only)
  • Current visa stamp

Important Notes

  • This KITAS does not allow you to work or earn money in Indonesia. You cannot sell goods or services.
  • We can convert a visa into a Retirement KITAS.
  • You must be sponsored by our agency.
  • Please inform us of your travel or departure plans to extend your KITAS on time.
  • The KITAS is multi-entry — you can enter and exit the country as you wish.
  • Extensions must be initiated 1 month before the expiration date.
  • You can sponsor your spouse with this KITAS.
  • If you exceed the validity date of your stay permit, the penalty is 1 million IDR per day per person.
  • Immigration reserves the right to change regulations at any time.
  • We cannot start the OFFSHORE application process if you are in Indonesia.
