Remote Worker KITAS

  • This visa allows you to work online for a foreign company.
  • The KITAS is valid for one year. You can enter and exit Indonesian territory as you wish.
  • It can be renewed up to five times, each time for one year — maximum validity: 6 years.
  • The E33G visa allows you to sponsor your family with a Family KITAS.
  • This KITAS does not allow you to work in Indonesia: you are not permitted to sell goods or services, or have clients within Indonesian territory.

Required Documents

Applicant Documents

  • ID Photo
  • Copy of Passport (minimum 18 months validity)
  • Personal Insurance Certificate
  • Employment contract with a company established outside Indonesian territory
  • CV (Curriculum Vitae)
  • Address in Indonesia
  • Bank account proving income of at least USD 60,000 per year
  • Personal bank statement with a minimum balance of USD 2,000 for the last 3 months (including name, date of period, and account balance)

Important Notes

  • This KITAS does not allow you to work or receive income in Indonesia. You are not permitted to sell goods or services.
  • You can sponsor your family with a Family KITAS.
  • This KITAS allows you to enter and exit the country freely — it is a multiple-entry permit.
  • You must be sponsored by an Indonesian company or by our agency.
  • This KITAS only allows you to work online for a foreign company.
  • It is valid for one year and can be extended five times, each for an additional year.
  • If you currently hold a visa, you can apply onshore.
  • If you overstay your KITAS validity, the penalty is 1,000,000 IDR per day per person.
  • If you wish to obtain another visa or KITAS, you must complete an EPO (Exit Permit Only).
  • Immigration reserves the right to change regulations at any time.
