Parent KITAS

  • The Parent KITAS is for parents who accompany their children to a school curriculum in Indonesia.
  • The KITAS is valid for 1 or 2 years and is multiple entry.
  • Your child must first obtain a Student KITAS for you to apply for the Parent KITAS.
  • It does not allow you to work for a company in Indonesia.
  • This visa cannot be renewed. At the end of your visa you must make an EPO and reapply.

Applicant Documents

  • Copy of passport with minimum validity of 18 months
  • Copy of marriage certificate or family record book (must be translated into English)
  • Copy of birth certificate (must be translated into English)
  • Residence permit (Student KITAS) of your child
  • Address in Indonesia
  • ID photo
  • Last 3 bank statements with a minimum of USD 2,000 at the end of the month
  • Current electronic visa, stamp (ONSHORE only)
  • Boarding pass (OFFSHORE only)

Sponsor Documents

  • Deed of the company (Akta)
  • SK Menkeh
  • NIB Berbasis Resiko including PKKPR
  • Lease agreement from the company's registered property
  • Letterhead
  • Company stamp (Physical stamp)
  • Balinese ID Card (can be a friend's / company employee's)
  • Copy of KTP / Passport of Director & Commissioner
  • SKTU
  • NPWP of company
  • Username & password for visa online

Important Notes

  • You can get the accompanying visa only if your child already has a Student KITAS.
  • The validity period of your KITAS will be the same as your child's KITAS.
  • The KITAS is multi-entry — you can enter and exit the country as you wish.
  • You can apply ONSHORE only if your current visa can be converted.
  • Please inform us of your travel or exit plans to extend your KITAS on time.
  • This KITAS does not allow you to work and receive money in Indonesia. You cannot sell goods or services.
  • We can convert a visa to Parent KITAS.
  • If you overstay your residence permit, the penalty is IDR 1 million per day per person.
  • Immigration reserves the right to change regulations at any time.
  • We cannot initiate the OFFSHORE creation process if you are in Indonesia.
