Investor KITAS

  • The KITAS Investor is intended for those who invest and/or are shareholders of an Indonesian company.
  • This residence permit allows you to lead, manage your teams, make decisions, sign contracts, and recruit.
  • This KITAS is valid for 2 years and can be converted to KITAP after 3 years of stay.
  • It allows you to leave the country as you wish.
  • It is necessary to stay in Indonesia during the extension period (30 days).
  • You can apply for the KITAS from abroad (OFFSHORE) or from Indonesia (ONSHORE).
  • This residence permit allows you to sponsor your family with a Family KITAS.

Exit Permit Only (EPO): Mandatory if you want to stop your KITAS or apply for another residence permit. Price starts from IDR 1,000,000.

Required Documents

Applicant Documents

  • Copy of Passport (minimum validity of 18 months for 1-year KITAS & 32 months for 2-year KITAS)
  • Recent colour photograph
  • Last 3 personal bank statements with a minimum of USD 2,000 at the end of the month in PDF format (name and date)
  • Address in Indonesia
  • Last bank statement from PT PMA with USD 10,000
  • Current electronic visa + stamp (ONSHORE only)
  • Flight ticket to arrive in Indonesia + Boarding Pass (OFFSHORE only)

Documents of Your PT PMA

  • Deed of the company (Akta), SK Menkumham, NIB and Letterhead
  • Physical stamp, Balinese ID card / local KTP
  • KTP / Passport of Director
  • KKPR, NPWP of the company

Important Notes

  • The Investor KITAS allows you to lead, manage, sign contracts, and recruit.
  • The Investor KITAS is sponsored by your PT PMA.
  • It allows you to reduce taxes on dividends and benefit from Indonesian taxes because you are an Indonesian tax resident.
  • It allows you to enter and leave the territory as you wish.
  • This residence permit can be valid for 6 years.
  • It allows you to sponsor your loved ones with the Family KITAS.
  • You can apply for this residence permit if you are outside Indonesia or in Indonesia.
  • If you exceed the validity date of your residence permit, the penalty is 1 million IDR per day per person.
  • Immigration reserves the right to change the regulations at any time.
  • Please inform us of your travel or exit plans to extend your KITAS on time.
  • You must have 10 billion IDR in PT PMA capital to apply for the Investor KITAS.
  • You must be over 18 years old.
